Racism

Heh. Here in Malaysia we blame the government for being racist and for discriminating against non-Islamic religions. But the rest of us non-Bumis can be pretty racist as well.

Check this out: www.urbandictionary.com/malay

I guess racism is a universal theme. Its probably linked to evolution and the survival of the fittest, like everything else.

My only other comment is on stereotyping people. Seems to be the norm nowadays. The Chinese are miserly, the Malays lazy, the Muslims extreme, the Christians pacifist, The Americans oil-hungry/selfish, the North Koreans maniacally suicidal, God great and good and loving, the Devil evil, ghosts invisible, cheetahs fast, sloths slow, murderers crazy, Catholic priests gay/paedophiles, Angelina Jolie hot, Mr. Bean funny.

Man, we human beings just LOVE classifications and relative adjectives. Must be something to do with the way our brains are hard-wired. And we can never accept the fact that things can change, too.

This reminds me of a scene from "The Matrix".

Niobe: There are some things in this world that never change.
Morpheus: Some things do change.
Niobe: Thank God some things do.

Amen to that.

Just...Ah, you know how people stereotype guys and girls. For eg, guys are untidy, girls tidy. Guys dumb, girls smart. Etc etc etc.

May: Ah, right, I forgot about that. Next time, maybe...

Jave: Haha, I usually can't think coherently when I'm around you guys. But the next time you're around, I'll make a bigger effort. =P

Claire: Nah, I'm not racist. At least I don't think I am. I might be, subconsiously. Hehe.
